Privacy Policy for Latered

Overview

Latered is designed with privacy as a core principle. Your data stays on your device — we don’t collect, store, or transmit your personal information to any servers.

Data Collection

What we store locally on your device:

Task titles and descriptions you create
Due times and durations
Recurring task templates (routines)
App preferences and settings

What we do NOT collect:

Personal health or medical data
Names, emails, or account information
Location data
Usage analytics or tracking data
Advertising identifiers

Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework. Your tasks and settings are shared between the main app and widgets using Apple’s App Group feature — this sharing happens entirely on your device and never involves external servers.

Third-Party Services

Latered uses the following Apple services:

StoreKit — For processing in-app purchases. Transactions are handled by Apple according to their privacy policy.
AlarmKit — For full-screen task reminders. No data is sent externally.
ActivityKit — For Live Activities on your lock screen. All processing is on-device.

We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

Data Retention

Your data remains on your device until you delete it within the app or uninstall the app. We have no ability to access or recover your data.

Children’s Privacy

Latered is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control. You can:

View all your data within the app
Delete individual tasks or all data
Uninstall the app to remove all data

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the app. Updates will be posted here with a new “Last Updated” date.
